VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, are chemicals released when wood finishing products are used. Contact with VOCs can cause allergies, respiratory problems and tearing – it also has a negative impact on the environment. Rubio Monocoat is a product based on natural ingredients, contains no water or thinners, and has a VOC content of 0%! This makes the product safe both to use and to the environment.
